In a confusing world of information, bollocks and lies, how do we know what is true? What is the correct belief system or opinion to have? What sources do we trust?
Meanwhile, most of us have normal jobs and lives. We don’t have time to be constantly fact checking and verifying everything. It would be nice if there was one source where you can get all the correct, unbiased and relevant information, but there isn’t one. And no, your favorite news source isn’t one either!
Readers may have noticed that I have kept quite about my opinions that I don’t think are relevant for the project. This is deliberate. I have spent a decade researching in order to make this project happen, and with it I am confident of a few things:
- Not all of my conclusions are correct
- Conclusions I have come to which are correct can be seen better from many other different perspectives
- Developing and using objective research methods which actually work, and showing the public how to do it, will not bruise my ego to any major degree
So, coming up in the next couple of weeks is a section demystifying how to find out the truth about what is going on in the world. Not to a nitpicky professional standard, but just to find the rough idea. Blind spots and contradictions begone!
